They called him David Walliams’ “mini-me” 😂 Then this 12-year-old started singing… and completely shocked the judges 😳🎤🔥

The second 12-year-old Ellis Chick walked onto the Britain’s Got Talent stage, he immediately had everyone’s attention.

He wasn’t shy.

He wasn’t frozen with nerves.

And he definitely didn’t look like a kid who was terrified of performing in front of thousands of people.

Instead, Ellis walked out with a huge smile, loads of confidence, and the kind of personality that made the audience warm to him instantly.

When the judges asked if he was nervous, Ellis casually brushed it off.

He explained that singing and dancing were simply part of who he was.

And his personal motto said everything about his attitude:

YOLO — You Only Live Once.

The crowd loved him.

But then something completely unexpected stole the spotlight.

The judges kept staring at Ellis.

Not because of his singing.

Not yet.

It was because he looked unbelievably similar to David Walliams.

The resemblance was so striking that the panel immediately began joking about it.

The audience burst into laughter.

Even David himself seemed amazed by the comparison.

For a few moments, Ellis had become the funniest kid in the room without even trying.

But then the music started.

And suddenly, the jokes stopped.

Ellis had chosen the classic “You Make Me Feel So Young,” a song famously performed by artists including Michael Bublé.

It was a bold choice for a 12-year-old.

But from the very first note, it became clear that Ellis hadn’t come to the stage just to be remembered as David Walliams’ “mini-me.”

He had real talent.

His voice sounded smooth, confident, and surprisingly polished.

But the singing was only part of what made the performance so impressive.

Ellis knew how to entertain.

He moved across the stage with swagger.

He smiled at the audience.

He played to the judges.

And he carried himself with a confidence far beyond his age.

There was no hesitation.

No awkwardness.

No sign that he felt overwhelmed.

He looked completely at home.

The judges watched in amazement as the same boy they had been joking with moments earlier transformed into a natural showman.

Alesha Dixon praised his ability to perform.

Amanda Holden was equally impressed, especially by how comfortable and relaxed he seemed on such a huge stage.

Then came David Walliams.

Naturally, he couldn’t resist joking about the resemblance.

David embraced the idea that Ellis was his younger version and joked that the boy looked like him — only with more talent.

The audience exploded with laughter.

But beneath the joke was genuine admiration.

Ellis had done something incredibly difficult.

He had walked onto one of the biggest talent-show stages in the country at just 12 years old and looked like he belonged there.

Even Simon Cowell, one of the hardest judges to impress, recognized Ellis’ confidence and natural stage presence.

Simon offered some playful criticism, warning him not to pick up overly old-fashioned performance habits.

But the message was clear.

Ellis had something special.

He didn’t simply stand still and sing.

He performed.

He entertained.

And most importantly, he made people remember him.

Then came the votes.

One by one, the judges said yes.

Four huge yeses.

Ellis was officially through to the next round.

The boy who had walked onto the stage and instantly reminded everyone of David Walliams walked off as something completely different.

His own performer.

His own personality.

And a 12-year-old entertainer nobody in the room was going to forget anytime soon.
